Spring 2021 Warden’s Training

This year the Spring Forest Fire Warden Trainings will be conducted through digital formats.

We have created video presentations which cover fire restrictions, fire permits, and fire billing, all of which can be viewed on the “Forest Fire Warden resources” Playlist located on the Forest Protection Bureau Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6xOrq9Q7D6dO6h5lPZJfxw/playlists

We will also be hosting 9 virtual meetings.  We have broken these down to different parts of the state so you can attend a meeting which your district Forest Ranger will be attending.  These meetings will offer additional agency updates and provide discussion time for you to talk with your ranger and to ask questions about the laws, rules and procedures.  If you cannot attend one of the trainings for your County, please sign up for any of the other trainings as the agency updates will be the same statewide.  It is important to note that you must pre-register for these meetings.  Each meeting can only host up to 100 people at a time, so registration is needed to ensure everyone can log on.  When you register you will receive information on how to log into the meeting.  You can register by emailing fire.training@dncr.nh.gov (preferred), or calling Jen Little at 603-271-3623 and providing your name, town, email address and date of the session you would like to attend.

“The Division of Forests & Lands is postponing the Spring Warden Training Sessions scheduled through March and April. Please note that this decision is not one which was made lightly. We are mindful of the impact this has on you and will re-evaluate scheduling these courses for later in the year and will send additional information as we have updates. “
